Here’s a Canadian pressing of Santana’s *Inner Secrets* from 1978, an album that marked a fascinating crossroads in Carlos Santana’s career. This was the period when the band was consciously steering toward a more commercial sound while still maintaining those signature Santana guitar textures and Latin rhythms that made them legends. The album features the massive hit “Stormy” their biggest chart success since “Black Magic Woman” alongside deeper cuts that showcase the band’s evolving fusion of rock, funk, and world music influences. It’s also notable for being one of the last albums to feature the classic Santana lineup before significant personnel changes in the early ’80s.
